New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church at 403 Penn Street at Penn and Wood Sts. offers a family movie night at 5:45 PM on the first Sunday of each month with refreshments. A free will offering is accepted. Movies are family friendly. Church is handicapped accessible and parking is available in the large lot entered off of Wood Street.

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Distant Area Volunteer Fire Department
Monday, September 5, 2016
All proceeds benefit Distant Area Volunteer Fire Department and Monroe’s Mission.
Registration begins at 6:30 A.M. at the Barrett Bus garage in Kellersburg, 908 Olean Road, Templeton, PA 16259. Fire Start at 8:00 A.M. Race course will close at 10:00 A.M. for parade preparation. The annual parade begins at 11:00 A.M.
Pre-registration deadline will be August 8, 2016. Pre-registrants are guaranteed a race shirt. Late/same day registrations will receive a race shirt while supplies last.
Th race will take place on primary (paved) roads. Participants must follow course markings, not all portions of the race course will be closed to traffic. Course is partly flat with some hills.

Redbank Valley School Board meets usually on the first Monday of the month at 7 PM in the high school library at 920 Broad Street, New Bethlehem.
Rimersburg Borough Council meets on the 1st Monday of the month, Dick E. Kline, Secretary.
South Bethlehem Borough Council meets on the 1st Monday of each month at the Borough garage at 309 Grant Street, South Bethlehem.
The Commissioners hold a work session generally every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 9 am except as otherwise scheduled.
The Redbank Valley Historical Society meets on the first Tuesday of each month for discussion and to collaborate on writing the history of the area.
Madison Township Supervisors meet on the first Tuesday at the Township Office.
